Part Time Employees

Full Time Employees
All full-time employees who are actively at work and scheduled to work an average of 30 or more hours per week or 1,560 hours per year on a regular basis are eligible for benefit coverage. The waiting period is 30 days for all classes of eligible employes except contracted employees (see below). Coverage begins on the first of the month following the waiting period.
Full time employees who experience a Qualifying Event (such as marriage, birth of a baby, adoption, divorce, or change in spouse’s benefits) should contact the Benefits Office for options on making changes to benefits.
Benefits for contracted employees (such as teachers and principals) are effective on the first day of the month coinciding with or following the effective date of the contract.
