Pilgrimage Sites

As part of the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope, Bishop Powers has designated two parishes as pilgrimage sites in the Diocese of Superior: Cathedral of Christ the King in Superior, and St. Joseph in La Pointe. During the Jubilee year, the faithful have an opportunity to obtain a plenary indulgence by making pilgrimage, and meeting the normal conditions:

1. Detachment from all sin
2. Receive Holy Communion and sacramental confession with two weeks (before or after)
3. Pray for the intentions of the Pope
twenty-four hours for the lord

Cathedral of Christ the king, Superior | March 26 - 27, 2025

Cathedral of Christ the King will be hosting 24 Hours for the Lord from 8:30am on March 26th to 8:30am on March 27th. Each day will begin with daily Mass.
