Do you work with youth (ages 12-18)?

Thank you! Your work with young people is extremely important in keeping the faith alive. Despite the ongoing challenges of ministry and the tides of the current culture, we support your labors. We seek to provide you with up to date information for you and your youth. Practically, how do we support your work? We offer:

Diocesan Youth Events: Ranging from local youth rallies to international conferences to mission trips. These events are designed to encourage youth to see a bigger picture of their Catholic faith. People of all races and places are Catholic!

Consultation: Our basic starting place with any parish or group is developing a Youth Plan with you and your team. Set up a date for us to visit. For those that have been working with youth for a while, we can assist you with new ideas and ongoing support in a variety of ways depending on your needs. Whether you need help with a new hire or you desire to address a particular issue, we can help.

Ongoing Formation: Each school year we meet with adult youth workers to address hot topics and provide continuing formation. These are great opportunities for formation and networking with other area youth workers.

It is our hope that we provide your communities with relevant materials and assist in creating "youth-friendly" environments in which to worship, grow and be nurtured. Let us recognize and empower the gifts and talents of our youth. We are confident that these young people will commit themselves to Christ through your exemplary witness of faith, hope and love. Let us set our hearts on Him who is Love (1 Jn 4:16).
