From Aug. 20-22, the Office of Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship hosted its annual Parish Catechetical Leadership Conference at St. Joseph Church in Rice Lake.

The Diocese of Superior released Bishop James P. Power’s Pastoral Letter on Evangelization on the Feast of Pentecost, a commemoration of the descent of the Holy Spirit upon Jesus’ disciples that is rooted in a Jewish festival celebrating the first fruits of the wheat harvest.

A jubilee celebration for sisters serving in the Diocese of Superior was held Wednesday, May 23, at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Catawba.

The Southwest Deanery for the Diocese of Superior’s Council of Catholic Women hosted a first-time event on Saturday, May 13, at Our Lady of the Lakes Church in Balsam Lake.

For the first time in decades, the Diocese of Superior will ordain a class of three men in 2023.

The 2023 Superior Diocesan Council of Catholic Women’s Convention – to be held June 19-20 in Rice Lake – will be the 73rd annual event for the women’s organization.
