Frassati Society

A growing young adult organization is called the Frassati Society. The name comes from a young man named Pier Giorgio Frassati (now blessed). Young people looking for a role model and someone to identify with will find Frassati a vibrant outdoorsman who loved Christ, served the poor and got involved civically. He lived in Italy until the age of 24 where he contracted polio from the poor that he frequently served. The Frassati Society embraces four marks of Pier Giorgio's life:

1. Prayer and Devotion to the Blessed Sacrament
2. Outdoor Adventures
3. Service to the poor and vulnerable
4. Political Involvement that embrace Christian ideals
