Inspiring parish musicians to “perceive the body and blood of Christ as an integral part of their lived experience and the experience of those around them” is the goal of the Diocese of Superior’s 2022 Music Ministry Retreat & Workshop, said Paul Birch, director of the Office of Worship.

Bishop James P. Powers concelebrated Pentecost Mass with Fr. Dean Buttrick, liaison for the diocesan Charismatic Renewal committee, and numerous other priests and deacons at St. Joseph Church in Rice Lake on Sunday, June 5.

On Sunday, May 29, Bishop James P. Powers expressed his gratitude to all those who influenced and formed the three men he would be ordaining to the transitional deaconate.
