The Director of Ecclesial Ministries and Diocesan Consultation, Chris Newkirk, is once again
pleased to be providing new opportunities for Pastors, Parish Life Coordinators/Parish Directors, Deacons, Religious Sisters, Parish Catechetical Leader (Principals, Teachers, DREs, CREs, Youth Ministers) – and Parish Leadership Teams (to include any and all parish leaders) to learn and grow together. These offerings are in response to numerous requests for opportunities for more extensive training and leadership development. All individual leaders are welcome to attend, however it is hoped that you will take advantage of these opportunities by attending as an entire parish leadership team.

"Listening With An Understanding Heart: A Key Component for Discipleship"
Deacon Mike Ryan, who serves in the Winter/Radison Parish Cluster, will assist participants with understanding the role of "listening" in the process of discipleship, bringing "our Eucharistic source and summit" to the marketplaces of life, and inviting others to mission with us.

"Remain In Me"
With deep gratitude we recognize the Eucharist is the "source and summit" of our Catholic Christian life. We find strength and nourishment in the real presence of Christ so that we may be affective disciples. Fr. Adam Laski, Associate Pastor of the Rice Lake Cluster, will help participants unpack the deep sacramental meaning of the Eucharist and how it is directly connected to discipleship and mission.
All sessions are held at St. Joseph Parish Center, Hayward. Lunch will be provided on site.
