St. Mary's Springs Academy has an immediate opening for a full-time teacher of high school Theology. The permanent and contracted teaching position begins November 30, 2020. SMSA is proud of its 110 year tradition as a Catholic school founded by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Agnes and sponsored by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. With 300 students enrolled in the high school, and more than 500 students enrolled in its campus elementary school, SMSA is a growing and dynamic learning environment rich in history, mission and identity. Theology is required of all graduates, and is taught every day at SMSA. The instructor will teach courses in Sacraments and Church History to freshman students.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor Degree in Theology, and experience teaching teenagers in a high school setting. Experience in youth ministry is also valued. To be certified within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Theology teachers shall be practicing Catholics. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
