Spirit of Stewardship Award

The Spirit of Stewardship Award is presented at the Diocese of Superior's Annual Stewardship Day each Spring to those Stewards who have promoted and modeled Stewardship in their parish.
Stewardship is an expression of discipleship. It is a way of life, a way of thanking God for all His blessings by returning a portion of the Time, Talent and Treasure allotted to us. Stewards receive God's gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly and share them lovingly in justice with others.

Once a year pastors and parish directors nominate an individual from their parish who is a model of "Christian Faith in Action." They typically submit a short essay on the nominees among which the winner is chosen.
